About Sienna
Hi! My name is Sienna Eldridge. I’m 19 years old and currently in my second year of a Bachelor of Psychology (Honors) at Griffith University on the Gold Coast.
I’ve always loved learning, especially understanding how people think, learn, and communicate ideas. Studying psychology has deepened this interest and given me insight into how different students process information in different ways. I find it really rewarding to take what I learn and use it to help others feel more confident in their own abilities.
I believe that no matter what level of the curriculum you’re working at, there is always something new to discover. Whether it’s a simple idea or a complex concept, there’s value in learning how things connect—and I really enjoy helping students experience those “aha” moments where things finally click.

I aim to bring this idea into every lesson by creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students don’t just memorize content, but actually understand and apply it. My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I focus on breaking down reading comprehension and essay writing into clear, manageable steps, helping students build both confidence and strong academic skills.
Lessons are interactive and practical, using guided examples and clear explanations to help students understand how to improve their writing and comprehension. I also encourage students to develop independent thinking skills so they can apply what they learn with confidence.
I achieved top marks in English and Literature in high school and am currently studying Psychology (Honors) at Griffith University. This background has helped me understand how different students learn and how to adapt teaching strategies effectively.
As someone with ADHD, I previously struggled with reading comprehension, maintaining focus, motivation, and clearly expressing my thoughts in writing—especially under exam pressure. Over time, I developed strategies that work with the way my brain functions, which significantly improved my academic performance, particularly in English. This experience also helps me support students who may face similar challenges, especially with organization, focus, exam stress, and structuring ideas.
