About Stephanie

I’m an NHS doctor with a passion for education and helping others reach their potential. With experience teaching English at primary and secondary school level, I enjoy helping students improve their reading, writing, grammar and communication skills. I want to teach English because I believe strong language skills open doors to future opportunities. My aim is to make learning enjoyable, build confidence and empower every student to achieve their best.

About the lesson

My lessons can support students with:

Reading comprehension – developing understanding, interpretation and analytical skills.

Spelling, punctuation and grammar – strengthening the foundations of written English.

Writing skills – improving sentence structure, vocabulary, creativity and written expression.

English exam preparation – practising exam-style questions and developing effective answering techniques.

Confidence and fluency – encouraging students to express themselves clearly and communicate effectively.

I believe that every student can improve with the right guidance, encouragement and teaching approach. My lessons are interactive, structured and tailored to each learner's ability, goals and areas for improvement.

I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace. I use clear explanations, guided practice and constructive feedback to help students strengthen their understanding and make progress.

Whether your child needs help consolidating classroom learning, preparing for exams or developing greater confidence in English, I will work with them to build strong foundations and achieve their goals.

Let's work together to make learning English enjoyable and help your child reach their potential!
