About Jason
My name is D. Jason Couch, and I am a certified Composite Science Teacher with a Master’s in Science Education, an Administrator Certification, and years of experience teaching and tutoring students from kindergarten through 12th grade. My passion is helping students not only understand science, but also see how it connects to the world around them. I specialize in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth & Space Science, and Environmental Science, and I tailor my approach to fit each student’s learning style—whether they need extra support, want to strengthen their foundation, or are ready to be challenged at a higher level. My Administrator Certification gives me a broader lens and wider scope as an educator. It allows me to see beyond the classroom—to understand student growth, curriculum design, and long-term success from multiple perspectives. This bigger-picture view helps me guide students not only in mastering science concepts, but also in developing the skills and confidence they’ll need for their future. With a background as both an educator and a coach, I bring patience, encouragement, and clear explanations that make even the toughest science concepts easy to grasp. My goal is to help every student build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and discover the excitement of learning science. Because science isn’t just a subject—it’s the key to understanding the world

Why Take Science with Me?
Science isn’t just about memorizing facts—it’s about discovering how the world works. With me as your teacher and tutor, you’ll get more than lessons… you’ll get an experience that makes learning exciting, clear, and real.
Here’s why you’ll love it:
I break down tough concepts so they’re easy to understand.
You’ll see how science connects to your everyday life—from sports and health to technology and the environment.
Hands-on activities, real-world examples, and stories that make science come alive.
You won’t just pass tests—you’ll build the confidence to take on bigger challenges.
I’m not just a teacher; I’m a coach and mentor who believes in you, pushes you, and celebrates your wins.
Science with me isn’t about “getting through it.” It’s about enjoying the ride, unlocking your potential, and preparing for your future.
Are you ready to stop struggling and start excelling?
Let’s make science your strongest subject.
