About Laura
I am a Ph.D. student with experience offering private french and english reading and writing tutoring lessons to children and adult students, from elementary school to undergraduate students, for over 10 years. My best advice for students wanting to learn more, and earn better grades, is to have your work reviewed critically so you know where and why you are missing marks!

Depending on the level of each student, my teaching methods vary. For reading-level students, we will start by reading familiar literature together. For students interested in critical reading and writing, we will read shorter stories and literature followed by response questions. For essay or thesis tutoring, we will go through a rigorous editing process in steps, where students are urged to respond to editor comments and questions while maintaining a very clean grammatical writing style.
