About Alwyn
In my decade-long journey, I've honed my expertise in product design and leadership within global product teams. Starting a design director at a Boston startup, where I navigated Fortune 500 client needs like Sprint, spearheading the development of a groundbreaking SaaS application for medical and insurance data management. In various contract roles across Boston's tech scene, I embraced versatility, immersing myself in finance, education, and entertainment projects.
My total career includes stints as a graphic designer, instructor/lecturer in tech, college and university settings, project management, and product designer.

In mentoring, I offer two key approaches:
Hands-on Guidance: We pinpoint areas for improvement and tailor a teaching plan to suit your needs. I've successfully guided students in mastering essential design tools and honing professional-level skills.
Theory to Practice: Through discussions and practical lessons, I elevate your proficiency to a professional level, whether you're entering the field or seeking advancement.
With over 12 years of instructional experience alongside my design career, I've developed and refined a curriculum that has empowered countless students to transition into successful graphic and product designers. From design applications to a wide array of graphic design deliverables and product design within software development, I've covered it all.
