About Ariel
Hello! My name is Ariel Tucker, and I'm a writer, artist, and Florida native. I graduated from Southeastern University with a bachelor's in Organizational Leadership and minors in Political Science and English.
I was homeschooled for most of my pre-university education, and it instilled a love of writing in me. We were encouraged to make connections between the various subjects, and writing was the canvas where these ideas were expressed. Some of my favorite papers emerged from the idea that writing and education should not exist in a vacuum.
As a result, I've become a lifelong learner. Though writing is my specialty, I've dabbled in history, philosophy, religion, media, and art. Many of these interests were nurtured at SEU, where I TA'd under a professor of religion and philosophy.
As a tutor, I want to tap into my experience and help others experience the pride of a perfectly crafted paper.

As a tutor, my greatest desires for students is that they can comprehend and convey the big picture ideas in their work. My goal is that they realize that writing a paper--regardless of genre--is more than hitting a word count or summarizing information. Rather, it is an opportunity for them to make connections, explore themes, and synthesize their own voice in a world all too eager to outsource these critical thinking skills.
The content of a lesson will differ depending on the student's goals and workload. From my experience, you cannot have a meaningful equation without discussion, so lessons will be structured around questions aimed at helping the student find the answer instead of just being given it.
Lessons are aimed at middle to high schoolers, and I specialize in literature, essay writing, and persuasive/debate papers.
