About James
I am a longtime university professor. I have been teaching for more than twenty years. With my wife, I have raised two lovely children who have now both graduated from college. As I approach retirement, I would like to continue to engage in my love of teaching and learning outside of the classroom. This is why I would like tutor new students.

I am an expert in English and Writing. I teach through discussion but also sometimes with games and creative exercises. I am very patient and feel very rewarded when my students learn something new. I have spent much of my professional life abroad, and I have worked with students from many foreign countries including Turkey, the U.A.E. and Morocco. I can tailor my lessons for many different age groups and levels from high school students to university students to adults who are no longer in school.
