About Riya
I’m a friendly and patient English tutor who believes learning works best when you feel relaxed and comfortable. Many students feel nervous speaking English, so my priority is to create a supportive space where you can practise without pressure and build confidence step by step.
I adapt every lesson to you — your goals, your level, and your pace. Whether you want conversation practice, clearer pronunciation, or help with grammar, I explain things simply and give real examples so the language makes sense and feels natural to use.

My approach to teaching English
My lessons are communication-focused and practical. I don’t rely on memorising long grammar rules — I teach you how to use English naturally in real conversations. Grammar is explained simply and then practised through speaking, listening, and real-life scenarios so it becomes automatic.
I adapt each class to the student. Some learners need confidence speaking, others need accuracy for work or exams, so I adjust the pace, materials, and homework accordingly.
Techniques & methodology
• Speaking-first approach (you talk most of the lesson)
• Error correction with clear explanations
• Role-plays and real situations (interviews, travel, meetings, daily life)
• Pronunciation training and natural expressions
• Vocabulary building through conversation, not word lists
• Optional homework and revision practice between lessons

Typical lessons last 60 minutes.
(45 or 90 minute sessions available if preferred)
