About Khadija
Hi! My name is Khadija. I am a detail-oriented LLB Law graduate, with professional experience working as a Teaching Assistant at a Primary school and also in an SEND unit, I bring strong organisational and interpersonal skills. Above all, I bring a life-long commitment to supporting people in their English writing and reading skills. I am particularly enthusiastic about supporting students who have additional needs. As someone with several family members who are SEN, I understand the profound difference a patient, caring, and supportive adult can make to a person’s learning experience. I am currently working as a teaching assistant, where I support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities to access learning and achieve their potential. My duties include implementing individual support plans, adapting resources, and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning. I work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to promote inclusion and ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive, while upholding the school’s safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times. From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with children, and I am excited to finally pursue my original dream of becoming a teacher.

I believe in a tailored teaching approach, where I adapt my teaching to each student’s individual needs and abilities. I want to work at my student’s pace, while still challenging them to reach their full potential. By understanding their strengths, areas for development and learning needs during the consultation, I can establish achievable goals. This allows me to push the boundaries of their learning while ensuring they feel supported and confident throughout the process.
