About Livvy

I'm 25, and I’m currently working full-time in commercial radio, putting both areas of study (music and commerce) to good use! I'm a bubbly and lively person, and I'm good at making people feel at ease and giving them the confidence to be who they are without judgment - something which is very important with singing, as I'm very conscious of the vulnerability it takes! I've been singing my whole life, and it's always been a huge passion of mine, along with songwriting. Whilst I enjoy my work in commercial radio very much, I love to teach singing alongside my work, as this is where I feel most in my element. I understand that everyone has different needs when it comes to their singing lessons. Let's work together to achieve your goals, and make sure that you leave every lesson feeling like you've learned something, and already looking forward to the next one!

About the lesson

I teach all ages 7+ (including adults) of any ability/experience. I offer a free trial lesson to test things out and see if I’m the right fit for you or your child, so there's really nothing to lose! I have three years singing teaching experience - initially through Rudd School of Rock, and then through my own business, Just Vocal Coaching. I have a bachelor of music, specializing in popular music songwriting and vocal performance, alongside a bachelor of commerce. My approach to vocal coaching is a very modern one - I pay special attention to vocal technique, providing useful, relevant, and tailored exercises that will help each individual student overcome the specific challenges they struggle with in their singing journeys. I understand that every student has different objectives and needs, which is why in the first couple of lessons, I will always sit with a student and gain insight into their past experience, and what their singing goals and objectives are. Areas I can help with include (but are not limited to): range, technique, resonance, projection, vocal health, posture, vocal anatomy, performance (including mic technique and overcoming nerves), and also songwriting.
