About Colden
I have a passion for languages and literature, and I’ve always loved teaching; it feels like a beautiful way to connect with others through the sharing of knowledge. I am studying linguistics and university, which is highly relevant to the teaching of English, but I also love the less tangible aspects of the human experience encapsulated in literature. I also always find myself learning new things and exploring new ways of thinking through working with my students. It’s incredible to connect with someone and be part of their growth, and tutoring the most rewarding job I’ve ever had.

I believe that the focus of one-on-one tutoring should be a personal connection between the student and teacher; there is no one-size-fits all approach. I have taught second language speakers from beginners to fluent and am experienced in finding the best way to find your gaps, meet your needs and hopefully also extend your interest in the subject.
