About Daria
I have previously taught English to Russian students back at home in Russia and I am currently helping my friend at uni who is learning Russian. Being a native speaker and also having experience teaching English to Russian students I can see what are the best way to make learning as easy and engaging as possible. I have found that my students were highly involved during lessons and have continued learning the language

I base my classes on the area that firstly my student is struggling the most with and I approach the problem by first explaining the phenomenon and then giving a range of exercises in order to practice. I try to vary my lessons by not giving the same type of exercises each time meaning that in some lessons it might be providing videos in order to practice listening and then giving exercises based on that video and the next lessons might focus on the grammar exercises. Overall, I make sure that the student is not bombarded with lots of information and has time to practice learnt material
