About Dan
My mathematical pedigree is difficult to summarise. Out of sheer curiosity, I have attended undergraduate and graduate level courses in math and physics from Stanford and MIT to the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (which was actually superior to those Ivy League schools in my opinion. The Germans understand mathematical rigour like nobody else).
And, my tutoring experience has followed me throughout this time, as I was usually the one who was called upon to help my peers, under the assumption that I always understood the material. That put a lot of pressure on me to develop approaches to learning that were so efficient that I could essentially teach the lectures I had only just attended - which I will pass on to you as well if you're ambitious enough.

Unlike many tutors, I have spent years studying the various methods from around the world for just about every topic that happens to appear at secondary school levels or their equivalents.
I have also been exposed to a huge variety of teaching methods.

My primary focus is on helping you develop mathematical fluency. I want to get you to the point where you can understand the grammar of mathematical logic - so that bad math will be as obvious to you as bad English.
