About Kye
As a 16-year Student Affairs practitioner, I understand the importance of quality education. My francophone foundation began with a study abroad to Madagascar followed by 3 years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa. A subsequent DELF certification during a stop in France was the perfect segue to a French Language Teaching Certification in my home state of Louisiana. I shored up my foundation via a Master's in French Literature while working as a university study abroad advisor and later as a health educator in Oklahoma.

I offer student-centered virtual or in-person tutoring sessions for beginner and conversational French language learners. Sessions will support high school through adult learners through existing lessons and help develop desired skills.
I support learners in their preferred learning styles and believe language learning can be made much more exciting if integrated with Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences.
Five years of work and study in francophone Africa and France inform my tutoring efforts and I enjoy preparing French language learners for everything from tests to overseas experiences.
