About Matthew
Shadow Life Coaching is run by myself Matthew Campaign-Scott.
I have all kinds of feelings about people but I am free from judgement both from and towards others - I care enough to listen but I press people to be accountable to someone.
We may be free agents but we are also living in a community and what we do affects others. Others matter and are important to keep us from being isolated and in danger of losing the flow of life that comes from others.
I spent twenty-two years ministering, leading and counselling people. I then discovered Life Coaching and how instead of fixing people, which is good too, I could focus on identifying and exposing people's potential and strengths as well as their obstacles and limiting beliefs about themselves. From there it's just a hop, skip and a jump to personal growth and being enthused towards achieving goals. I qualified as a Life Coach through New Insights Life Coach Training based in the UK.
I am a recovering addict (fourteen years clean and sober) who has done the 12 Step Programme under vigorous supervision. I have overcome or learnt to live with physical and mental health complaints. I have a great sense of humour and firmly believe in fairness, common sense and the pursuit of one's passions.
I love my wonderful wife, who is full of grace and wisdom. I also deeply love my two delightful daughters in all their eccentricity and beauty. Speaking of eccentric I have a mad cat who hunts lizards and takes over the keyboard when I'm talking to clients on Skype. Thoroughly unprofessional - Tut, tut.
I would love to welcome you into my world and pursue encouraging you as you step into the light with me and pursue growth and empowerment.
