About Damon
My interest in Biology began with a fascination for the complexity and diversity of life. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences before completing a Master’s Degree in Human Biology. Over the last 7 years, I have helped students strengthen their understanding through patient and personalised instruction.
I believe that effective teaching requires flexibility and encouragement. Every learner approaches Biology differently, so I adapt my methods to suit individual learning styles and goals. Building confidence is just as important as building subject knowledge.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about medical research, environmental science, and biological discoveries. These interests allow me to bring fresh perspectives into lessons. Helping students develop a deeper appreciation for Biology is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My Biology lessons are built around understanding how living systems function and interact. Students explore genetics, ecology, cell biology, anatomy, physiology, and evolution through simple explanations and meaningful examples. I focus on helping learners connect concepts naturally so that learning feels logical and easier to remember.
Each lesson is tailored to the student's needs and current level of understanding. Visual resources, guided discussions, and structured activities help reinforce important ideas while keeping lessons engaging. Students are encouraged to think critically and ask questions throughout the learning process.
I aim to create a learning environment where students feel supported and motivated to improve. As their confidence grows, they become more comfortable analysing biological concepts independently. My goal is to help learners build both knowledge and curiosity about the living world.
