About Gillian
I'm presently three years into a Life Sciences degree at the University of Toronto's Mississauga campus, with a major in Ecology and a double minor in Biology and Philosophy of Science. I've performed and defended multiple research projects, mainly on the human impact on plant growth, and am presently preparing for a conference in November involving the behaviours and physiology of black carpenter ants.

I finished high school with a 95% in AP biology, and continued to be passionate about it into university! I believe in ensuring that a subject is fully understood- echoing a response is not necessarily knowing it. I am comfortable teaching biology from entry-level all the way up through high school, and aim to help students better wrap their heads around concepts which they're having a hard time learning inside the classroom.
