About April
I am a graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts, with a degree in playwrighting. My first written word loves were writing poetry and short stories. I've worked with young people in the United States and in Ghana through
volunteer programs,
teaching them how to craft their emotions into poems. I believe that I have a service to showing young people how to transfer their feelings into cathartic outlets such as writing and performance, and that this is cathartic for me as well.
