About Zack
I believe the best learning happens when people feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and practicing without judgment.
I'm a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a background in linguistics, education, and clinical practice. I love helping people understand communication rather than simply memorizing rules or completing worksheets.
Outside of work, I'm an avid reader, rock climber, guitarist, and lifelong learner. Those interests remind me that every meaningful skill develops through curiosity, consistency, and plenty of imperfect practice. I bring that same mindset to every lesson and enjoy helping students discover that growth can be both challenging and genuinely enjoyable.

Every person communicates differently, so every lesson starts by understanding your goals rather than following a one-size-fits-all plan. As a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in schools, medical settings, telepractice, and language research, I tailor each session to your individual strengths, challenges, and learning style.
I work with teens and adults seeking support with speech production, language learning, reading and literacy, pronunciation, public speaking, professional communication, or overall communication confidence. Whether you're preparing for a presentation, strengthening your language skills, or working toward clearer speech, we'll focus on practical strategies you can use outside of our sessions in real life!
My teaching style is collaborative, encouraging, and evidence-based. I enjoy breaking complex communication skills into manageable steps while helping students understand not only what to practice, but why it works. My goal is to help you become a more confident, independent communicator over time.
