I have been teaching students with specific learning disabilities in math for several years with great success. I believe that all students have the ability to learn and excel, and it is our job as educators to unlock that potential and direct them on the path to success!

While memorizing the multiplication facts is the easiest way to go, sometimes that it is also the most stressful. I will teach 4 different strategies that you can use to determine the answer to single-digit multiplication problems.
I've used these strategies for several years to successfully teach students with specific learning disabilities in math. They are then able to take these strategies and apply them to more complicated math problems.
