About Aubrey
Hello! I’m Mrs. Watring, a licensed science teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Secondary Education. I have experience teaching middle and high school science in both traditional and virtual classrooms, and I’m passionate about helping students gain confidence and succeed.
I understand that science can feel overwhelming, so I focus on creating a patient, encouraging, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s individual goals and learning style.

Teaching Method & Techniques
I believe students learn best by understanding the “why” behind science. My lessons are interactive, personalized, and paced to each student’s needs. I use real-world examples, visuals, guided practice, and step-by-step explanations to make challenging concepts easier to understand.
A Typical Lesson
Each session begins with identifying the student’s goals or questions. We’ll review key concepts, work through homework or practice problems together, address any areas of confusion, and finish with a quick recap and tips for continued success.

As a licensed science teacher with a Bachelor’s in Biology and a Master’s in Secondary Education, I bring both classroom experience and a passion for helping students succeed. I create a supportive, judgment-free environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.
