About Babs
Hello!
My name is Babs. I have a Bachelor of Education degree in Adult Education and History from the University of Ibadan graduating in the top three, a 120-hour TEFL Certificate, and a 60-hour Specialised Online Teaching Certificate. For over 15 years, I have garnered teaching experiences both online and offline. The experiences gathered make me the most appropriate tutor to be with you every step of the way on this journey of mastery of English Language.

Within the last 15 years of my teaching career, I have worked as an English tutor, Classroom teacher, and Education officer teaching all levels of learners from elementary to advanced -- tweens, teens, young adults and adults from diverse backgrounds and countries.
My teaching approach is learner-centred. I tailor my class to suit individual learner's needs and interests. I believe every student is unique and has varying individual needs and interests. i create rapport with them. Through this, I get to know them and be abreast of their learning goals thereby tailoring my class to what works well for them. In addition, I make use of Total Physical Response (TPR), that is, using gestures and demonstration to help students learn better and faster
My class is usually focused on conversational English. We will look closer at pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar fluency, and spelling. However, there is a provision for learners' preferences and needs.
My class is typically 60 minutes long except in some special circumstances.
