About Harlene
I am a BSED English graduate and a Licensed Professional Teacher with 5 years of experience as a private tutor and 2 years of experience teaching Junior High School in a private school. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in English. I am patient, approachable, and passionate about helping students learn through engaging, interactive, and play-based activities. I use a student-centered, interactive, and play-based approach to make learning simple, enjoyable, and meaningful. I adjust my teaching methods according to each student’s age, learning style, level, and needs. A typical lesson includes a short review, engaging discussion, games or activities, guided practice, and feedback. As a BSED English graduate, Licensed Professional Teacher, and current master’s student, I combine academic knowledge with actual teaching experience. My lessons are suitable for elementary, junior high, senior high, and college students who want to improve their English, reading, writing, grammar, speaking, and comprehension skills.
