About Mohammadali
I approach every piano lesson with the same discipline I bring to my own performing and composing career, built on a clear, structured, and personalized teaching method rather than a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
Each lesson is shaped around four core areas: technique, music theory, ear training, and sight-reading, balanced with expressive performance work so students grow as musicians, not just as note-readers. I break pieces down into manageable steps, set clear and measurable goals, and adjust my method to suit each student's age, pace, and ambitions — whether that means steady weekly progress for a hobbyist or focused, intensive preparation for an upcoming exam or recital.
Lessons typically run 45 to 60 minutes, with shorter 30-minute sessions available for younger beginners who benefit from short, focused bursts, and longer sessions for older students working toward exams or performances.
My teaching is grounded in verifiable credentials: a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano, a government-issued Licensed Piano Instructor certification, more than seven years of one-on-one teaching experience, and thirteen years of classical performance experience. I am also an active composer, with original scores written for professional theater productions and short films, including an official selection at the 41st Tehran International Short Film Festival. This ongoing professional practice keeps my teaching current and connected to real musical work, not theory alone.
I welcome students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners taking their first lessons to advanced students preparing for formal examinations, recitals, or public performance. Whatever the goal, my aim is to build genuine musical confidence alongside technical skill.

I teach with a student-centered methodology, adapting my approach to each learner's age, goals, and existing skill level rather than following a fixed curriculum. Lessons are built around four core pillars: technique, music theory, ear training, and sight-reading, balanced with expressive performance work so students develop musicality alongside mechanical skill. I break down complex pieces into manageable stages, use regular listening and ear-training exercises to build musical intuition, and track progress against clear, measurable goals rather than just moving through a songbook. As a working composer, I also bring a practical, real-world perspective on musical structure, arrangement, and interpretation that goes beyond standard method-book teaching.
Lessons typically run 45–60 minutes, with shorter 30-minute sessions available for young beginners who need shorter bursts of focused attention. I can also structure longer sessions for older students preparing intensively for exams or performances.
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano and a government-issued Licensed Piano Instructor certification, with over seven years of one-on-one piano teaching and thirteen years of classical performance experience. I've also composed original scores for professional theater productions and short films, giving me a broader musical toolkit to draw on in lessons.
My students range from complete beginners to advanced examination candidates, and I teach both children and adults — whether the goal is passing a formal exam, playing confidently for personal enjoyment, or building toward performance and composition.
