My teaching approach is student-centered, structured, and adaptable across all subjects, with a focus on helping students truly understand how to learn, not just what to learn. I break down complex concepts into manageable steps using interactive strategies, real-life examples, and visual supports, while also incorporating skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning. Each session includes reviewing prior material, introducing new concepts, guided and independent practice, and a brief wrap-up to reinforce understanding. What sets me apart is my background in occupational therapy, which allows me to support different learning styles and build confidence, focus, and effective learning strategies—making my tutoring beneficial for students from elementary through college across a wide range of subjects.
