About Hazel
I'm a licensed professional teacher, having passed the official Licensure Examination for Teachers, and I've been teaching English at the college level since 2023. Before that, I worked as an ESL teacher and spent several years in customer service and quality assurance, which gave me strong communication skills and a lot of patience for explaining things clearly. I take my role as a tutor seriously — being on time, prepared, and genuinely invested in each student's progress matters to me. I enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and skill levels, and I always aim to make lessons feel supportive rather than stressful, so students feel comfortable making mistakes while they learn.
