About Jericca Shan
I am currently a Quantity Surveyor for an international company. Besides my full-time work, I frequently pursue freelance creative projects. These endeavors allow me to continually refine my knowledge on architecture.
As a tutor, I strive to make architectural concepts practical, engaging and easy to understand. I tailor my lessons to each student’s learning style and goals.

Students should choose me because I bring real-world experience from both the design and construction sides of architecture. I have worked as a Project Architect, Construction Supervisor, and Quantity Surveyor, giving me a practical understanding of how architectural concepts are applied from initial design through actual construction. This allows me to explain not only the theory behind architecture but also how it works in professional practice.
I also believe that every student learns differently. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I create personalized learning plans based on each student's current knowledge, goals, and learning pace. Whether a student needs help understanding architectural principles, improving technical drawing skills, developing design thinking, or preparing for coursework, I adapt my teaching methods to help them build confidence and achieve their objectives.
My goal is to make architecture engaging, approachable, and relevant by combining academic concepts with practical industry insights, helping students develop both the knowledge and the problem-solving skills needed to succeed.
