About Melissa
You are just starting to realize that your voice is an instrument that requires as much maintenance as a guitar string. It happens slowly at first, this discovery of head and chest voice, until suddenly the belt is effortless.
I make sure we record your performances each month so we can review your progress in detail. Using my degree from Berklee, I help you manage microphone technique and vibrato control while keeping your instrument safe. We will work on genre styling and performance confidence because your stage presence matters as much as your pitch.
I focus on breath, posture, and the subtle mechanics that keep your vocal health in check. We will handle the tricky transition from pop to classical styles by focusing on the specific phrasing needed for each. I provide the technical roadmap for your growth. You are going to sound fantastic.

When the room goes quiet and the air feels charged, I know my student is about to hit the perfect note. I specialize in helping working professionals and teens find their confidence.
Teaching is a conversation between the body and the sound. I have worked with many students over my 6 years of experience, always focusing on breathing control and vocal health. My background in flamenco has taught me that rhythm and phrasing are just as important as the notes themselves.
