About Aileen
"Teaching requires patience and clear communication to help you succeed. I hold a Licenciatura en Filología Hispánica and a CELTA, which informs my 13 years of experience.
My work as a translator and native Spanish speaker gives me a unique perspective on language acquisition. I teach poetry and prose, literature analysis, interview preparation, phonics for beginners, academic writing, conversational practice, public speaking, and pronunciation and accent. Progress happens. I offer dedicated expertise for every student."

"Your first session starts with a simple assessment of your current goals. I use my background in translation to explain complex English structures in ways that make sense. We cover 7 essential pillars of language, including public speaking and literature analysis. These sessions also include recorded pronunciation drills for daily practice to help you maintain momentum.
You will find the material engaging and practical. It is a straightforward way to improve your skills. I enjoy watching students gain confidence with each conversation. You will appreciate the consistency of our work together."
