About Kieron
I have recently finished A levels, predicted A*A*A*A, I have extensive experience in teaching English to Syrian refugees and family friends with kids, helping at both GCSE and A level standards. I am also passionate in history and psychology and have done a significant amount of reading around both subjects.
My teaching range for English is the most extensive as I am a bookworm at heart. For the family friends I have taught, I have been able to read and analyse books I had never read before and effectively help them achieve the grades they sought, boosting their grade from a 6 to an 8 at GCSE.
For History, I have a good general understanding of most of the curriculum taught with especial focus on the War of the Roses, the Cold War, Weimar, Nazi and West Germany, Russian history in the 1900's and liberal and fascist Italy. I am however more than happy to read up on your desired topic to be able to deliver detailed lessons.
For Psychology, I have detailed knowledge of the AQA A level syllabus (with Relationships, Addiction and Stress for paper 3), but again am more than happy to read up on desired topics to be able to deliver lessons.
I have firmed an offer from UCL starting September, studying arts and sciences.

I teach anyone and everyone. I am approachable and affable and I hope to form a strong tutor-tutee relationship with my students - grades are important but they aren't everything!
I am quite methodical with my teaching, but I like to approach each topic as a student first and foremost, making sure I understand what my tutee may struggle with and finding creative ways to help them understand.
