Start off with an introductory class where we (Tutee and Tutor) get to know each other and be clear on the goals that the student has so that the structure of the class can be curated according to the best needs of the student. My biggest quality as a tutor is being patient and calm. I make sure to build up an environment where the student feels free to express themselves clearly and safely so that the efficiency of the tutoring sessions
