About Georgia

I am currently on a gap year and in the final stages of securing a paralegal position to gain valuable legal work experience. My long-term ambition is to become a corporate barrister, and everything I’m doing now is focused on building the skills, discipline, and knowledge needed to reach that goal. I’ve always been someone who works extremely hard and commits fully to whatever I take on. That work ethic has carried me through my A-Levels and continues to drive me in my professional journey. I know how powerful motivation, structure, and the right mindset can be — and I want to help other students develop those same habits. As a mentor, I aim to guide people not only with academic content, but also with confidence, organisation, and a strong belief in what they can achieve. Whether it’s revision planning, building exam techniques, or staying motivated through stressful periods, I want to support students so they feel capable, focused, and prepared for their future.

About the lesson

My approach focuses on building strong understanding, improving memory, and developing exam confidence. First, I help students master the core content by breaking topics down clearly and practising short essay-style explanations to reinforce key ideas. Second, I use tools like NotebookLM and Quizlet to strengthen active recall, which is proven to boost long-term memory. These tools make revision more efficient and far less overwhelming. Third, I encourage regular self-testing through quizzes, blurting, and timed practice. This helps identify gaps early and builds the ability to write strong essays without relying on notes — a crucial exam skill. I also create personalised revision materials for each student, including cue cards and condensed notes tailored to their exam board and learning style. This saves them time and ensures they’re revising the right information in the most effective way. Overall, my method combines clear understanding, memory techniques, personalised resources, and exam practice. I’m confident I can guide students to higher grades with structured support and strategies that genuinely work.
