About Liv
Hi all, I'm Liv, a first year uni student currently studying psychology with neuroscience at Middlesex University, after studying chemistry, psychology, biology and sociology at A level. My primary field in psychology is biopsychology and memory. In sociology it's research methods and education. But I'm also happy to tutor other parts of the curriculum. I've always been passionate about sharing my knowledge about these subjects with others who want that extra boost. I also endeavour to tailor my teaching style that fits best to the student regardless of any additional needs they may have. Having ADHD myself, I know the extra challenges some students face when it comes to exams and I would love to help those who are in the position that I was in not so long ago.

I have 1 year experience in tutoring psychology (AQA) which involved helping a small group of students in year 12 with things such as Essay plans, Exam paper walkthroughs and exam practice. I'm able to read through essay answers and provide feedback. Additionally, with UCAS applications now open, I'm happy to provide support with personal statement writing. I'm happy to provide my personal statement as an example :) Having sat the A level exams recently, I'll be able to help you answer exam questions alongside the mark scheme and looking out for what examiners are looking for to help develop your understanding and exam answers. These lessons will be via Microsoft Teams and for 1 hour once a week.
