About Neve
I'm a guitarist with 7 years of experience I love helping beginners and intermediate players actually get good at guitar. I do in-person lessons and focus on the stuff that really matters — technique, learning songs you like, and building a solid foundation so you're not just winging it. Lessons are 30 minutes, which is plenty of time to make real progress without burning out. We'll cover a mix of theory, tabs, posture, and whatever style you're into, whether that's acoustic, pop, or rock. I'm still in school myself so I remember what it's like to be starting out. Lessons are pretty relaxed.

I'm a passionate guitarist in my final year of school with 7 years of hands-on playing experience across acoustic, electric, and rock styles. Having learned guitar myself not too long ago, I clearly remember the challenges beginners face — and that perspective shapes everything about how I teach. My goal is to make learning guitar approachable, enjoyable, and genuinely effective from day one.
My lessons are designed for beginners and intermediate players who want to build solid, lasting foundations. Whether you've never touched a guitar or you've been self-teaching for a while and want to clean things up, I'll meet you where you are. I teach kids and teens in person.
I cover a wide range of styles so lessons stay fun and personally relevant:
- Acoustic fingerpicking
- Pop chords & strumming
- Electric & rock playing
I believe great guitar playing is built on the basics done right. Every lesson weaves together four core pillars: proper technique and posture (so you avoid bad habits early), music theory fundamentals (so you understand *why* things work, not just *how*), learning real songs you love, and reading tabs and notation so you can learn independently between sessions. I tailor each lesson to your goals and learning pace — no two students are the same.
All lessons are held in person and run for 30 minutes — a focused, efficient length that keeps energy and concentration high. Each session typically includes a short warm-up and technique check, a theory or skills concept, and hands-on song or exercise practice to put it all together.
