About Geetika
Though I am yet to get a degree in my career of choice (medicine), my young and relatively fresh experience of exams and schoolwork acts as a great perspective as I will be able to relate to the students on another level and give them advice that is much more tailored to them, as I was in a similar situation. I think notework and teaching is fundamental for one's learning, however, I know, firsthand, how difficult it is to sit in front of a computer or someone and listen to them talk for an hour about a certain subject. This leads me on to how I attempt to engage my students with interactive games and activities. So that they can actually apply what they've learnt into more memorable exercises.

. Begin with a set baseline assessment based on content that has already been covered for the chosen subject, to pinpoint the weak areas and set learning goals for a length of time. Open to focus on areas that are desired to cover if the student has any trouble with anything. Setting and going over homework. Mainly for GCSE Level or below (Y7 - Y11). Have had experience tutoring Y11 students who went on to get A's and A* at GCSE. Experience tutoring Y9 and Y8 students in Maths, helping them improve in problem-solving skills and exam technique.
