About Maria
I am a student who is always willing to assist, regardless of how minor the situation or issue may be. I understand the huge pressure to perform well in exams because I have recently passed my GCSEs, and I'll always be able to relate if something is difficult to comprehend. If I am going too fast you should always interrupt and tell me. At the end of each lesson I will ask you to rate the lesson out of 5 and see where your knowledge lies and if it was helpful at all.

I will find out what kind of learner they are at our first meeting so that I may alter my teaching to make learning and memory retention simpler for them. (Visual or written learner). I then ask about parts of the course that the student finds challenging. If they don't know, I'll test them to see where their weaknesses are so I can help strengthen those areas. After that, we start planning ahead for the topics they want to review or for me to teach a complete lesson on. I have a lot of experience teaching because I have given lectures and given private tutoring to students in and out of the sixth form. I received an A grade in English which is the area I would like to specialise in, and I know where I needed to improve in my exam, therefore I will make sure the student(s) I teach do not make the same mistakes and instead improve their grades. My lessons with vary around 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes max. They are also aimed at year 10 and 11 students of any ability.
