About Brooke
I am a student of a local sixth form that understands what it is like to not be able to understand something the first time around. I am wanting to become a teacher in the possible future, and I very much enjoy the experiences in teaching I’ve practiced so far amongst my peers and those younger in school clubs.

The teaching method that I’ve depicted is to involve all students without them realising they’re having an input, dissolving the barrier between stereotypes and stopping certain quiet students from seeping into the shadows below the other voices in the class. During my school’s philosophy hub, I tend to print out double sided sheets, alongside a PowerPoint on the school screen board, getting students to show a yes or no side of the sheet of paper handed, which then makes them more confident to speak out. It often makes that person think for themselves and it makes a child who perhaps dislikes the initial impression of religion and philosophy, begin to become more open minded when they’re involved as individuals.
