About Mihika
My name is Mihika Ranade, and I am currently studying A levels in Psychology, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics (AS level). I am an aspiring medical student and have previous experience in tutoring students for behalf of the 11+ entrance exam. I believe learning is a different process for each student and I enjoy teaching children and broadening their knowledge of the world around them. I also believe this is an important part of school life and future work life, and I believe personalised tutoring is an efficient way of helping students broaden their knowledge in different subject areas.

My personal approach to tutoring is dependent on the student. I have experience in tutoring 11+ exam students and have previously helped to teach GCSE level Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics and all ages below as well. I teach via a content/knowledge PowerPoint, application to society/life to help the student understand what they are learning, and follow with question practice. Teaching is a mix between formal/informal depending on how the student learns best. The beginning of each session will consist of a retrieval task for previous areas of struggle, to ensure spaced repetition memory of the knowledge.
