About Isabelle
Hi I'm Isabelle, I'm a dedicated current year 2 A Level student who is studying both Biology and English Language. Having recently completed my GCSEs under AQA I'm highly familiar with the layout and curriculum of these exams.
I'm choosing to become a tutor because I remember the stress and overwhelming nature of my own exam season. My wish is to become the mentor that I wish I had for my own GCSEs that can make the exams a little bit less daunting.
Outside of my studies I am a highly organised and patient person with a passion for helping others to build their confidence.

My lessons are highly interactive and are tailored specifically to the student's learning style and requirements.
I aim to create a pressure-free environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
Our first lesson will create a baseline of strengths and weaknesses in the chosen subject, after that, each lesson will start with a retrieval quiz from the previous lesson. Then I will explain new topics using step-by-step breakdowns.
The next step will be practising past exam questions so that the student can immediately apply what they have learnt, followed by a wrap-up of what went well in the session and what more difficult sections should be targeted in the next session.
