About Sabine
Hello prospective students!
My name’s Sabine, I’m 18 years old and I tutor both English and Spanish at a range of levels. My aim is to build on your current skill set, enhance your strengths but also improve your weaker areas, whilst also increasing your confidence in your own ability.
I aim to produce engaging sessions which will allow you to perform to the best of your abilities when exam time rocks around. A priority for me is that you also see me as a friend, someone who you feel comfortable in asking questions to and can trust to support you.

I am a competent and personable current English student at Guildford High School in my final year of A Levels, with hopes to continue my study at either Edinburgh or Durham university this coming September.
In means of qualifications, I achieved all 9’s in my GCSEs, have been predicted 3 A*s for my A Levels and recently received the English Literature prize at my college.
Regarding my teaching style, my priority is to establish an understanding of what my pupil’s preferred learning strategies are, whilst curating a comfortable and aspirational learning environment in which they can flourish in. I can provide learning materials in whichever form they require, from practice papers and improving essay skills to understanding literature through either simple or complex linguistic techniques.
Particularly, I am hoping to tutor those under the age of 14, assisting them to consolidate their skills and knowledge as they potentially approach their end of year exams. Alternatively, I am more than happy to work with younger children as I have previously tutored students working towards their 11+ examinations, in both English and Spanish. Having continued my studies of Spanish in my A Level years, I also have become a confident Spanish speaker. Therefore, I am also available to tutor Spanish (oral or written work) up to GCSE level or, of course, younger pupils as well.
