About Eda

My name is Eda and I am in year 13 studying Biology, Psychology and maths. Biology has been my favourite subject throughout GCSEs and A-levels and I feel that all of my subjects tie into Biology quite well, which has helped me to gain a deeper and more holistic understanding of the subject as a whole. My keen interest in science and Biology specifically has led to make the decision to study biomedical science at university where I am excited to dive deeper into my interest. As someone who struggled with revision and exams at the beginning of GCSEs, I understand the frustration of not doing as well as you know you can. That is why I enjoy showing students who may currently be struggling at school, that with efficient revision techniques and consistent practice, accomplishing high grades is much more achievable than it may seem.

My lessons are made for GCSE students who are looking to achieve top grades and who may need some help grasping more complicated content by reframing it into a more understandable format, or those who may have the understanding but need to learn how to tailor their knowledge to what the examiner wants to see. I have developed a clear simple revision method, learnt and adapted from years of A-level and GCSE revision that provides a guarantee of top results if followed correctly. However, I understand that everyone learns differently and I will always adapt the method slightly to tailor to your needs and learning style. A typical lesson with me is one hour where we will focus on an efficient 3 step method that includes active recall and specific exam practice that will prepare you for the real exam.
