About Sofia
I am an A level student studying Classical Civilisations, English Literature, History, and Psychology, and have frequently mentored students a year or two years below me in these subjects. I have also taught students of many other ages; I helped 4-5 year olds learn how to read, and tutored kids aged 6-10 in Spanish, Art, and French. The results have been positive, with the older students succeeding in examinations, and the younger expressing enjoyment in their newly adopted subjects. I also have experience with children in other settings, as I often babysit and also offer counselling to some of the younger students at my school.

My teaching method would vary depending on the needs of the student but would typically consist of a combination of games and discussions about the topic to explore ideas and ensure wider understanding, whilst maintaining an element of fun. I am very organised so my lessons would be well structured and would always contain a brief review at the end.
