About Zakaria
Dedicated to helping students excel through clear structure, strong exam technique, and confidence-building. I graduated from the University of Cambridge with First-Class Honours in Human, Social, and Political Sciences, ranking 3rd in my cohort and receiving the Senior Scholar award. My academic background includes achieving 4 A*s at A-Level and earning a full sixth-form scholarship. I have supported Oxbridge outreach programmes and guided students from a wide range of backgrounds to make competitive applications. As the first in my family to enter higher education, I understand the value of tailored support and clear guidance. I am now preparing for a Master's in Law ahead of training as a corporate solicitor with a leading UK firm.

My lessons start by breaking down the assessment objectives, helping students understand exactly what their exam board is looking for. This clarity often sparks the biggest improvement. Together, we set clear, achievable goals, identifying the areas that can make the most difference to grades. I prioritise exam technique, teaching students how to structure answers, strengthen arguments, and make their writing stand out. Critical thinking is central to my approach. I guide students to use their own strengths and select examples that resonate personally, helping them think independently and creatively. Lessons are interactive and tailored to each student. I’m dedicated to helping them improve grades and prepare for Oxbridge or other elite university applications. All essay feedback is provided within 24 hours and ahead of the next lesson to maximise progress.
