About Jacqueline
A former scholar at City of London School for Girls, I graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford in Philosophy, Psychology and Physiology, and completed a master's in Neuroscience from Imperial College London as well as a Graduate Certificate in Philosophy with Distinction from Birkbeck, University of London.

I believe tuition is best for those who need a boost in confidence, extra support in subjects for a particular set of examinations or applications, or where the necessary level of attention is greater than can be met by the school alone. My job is to improve my tutees’ understanding and ability, with a focus on their individual needs and targets. Rapport is important with tuition, and I hope to create a comfortable atmosphere with my students in which they feel listened to and able to ask questions, particularly where this may be less easy in school.

I have had Jaqueline as a tutor for Physics, Chemistry and biology GCSEs and for Biology A-level. I highly recommend her as a tutor for both. Jaqueline was quick to discover gaps in my knowledge and made sure they were covered thoroughly. Her teaching style worked very well for me, with her clear outlining of subject topics and very good understanding of what the mark schemes are looking for, helped me get A* in my GCSE sciences.
