About Amrit

I am a friendly, approachable and motivated individual who enjoys working with others and helping them reach their goals.
I have always enjoyed Psychology, particularly understanding why people think and behave the way they do, which is what made me want to study the subject at A-Level.
Outside of academics, I have experience volunteering with younger students, where I developed my communication skills and learnt how to adapt the way I explain things depending on the person I am working with. I am patient and understanding, and I know that everyone learns differently.

About the lesson

Having studied A-Level Psychology myself, I understand the challenges students can face when learning complex theories, studies and research methods, and I know how important it is to make topics clear and easy to remember.
I aim to create a supportive and relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I can adapt my teaching style to suit each student, whether they learn best through clear explanations, examples, exam questions, active recall or structured revision. I particularly enjoy helping students develop their exam technique, understand how to apply psychological concepts and structure high-mark answers.
