About Diya
I am a Year 12 student based in Watford, currently studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths A-levels, with a strong academic background in the sciences. Having grown up in Spain before moving to the UK, I developed adaptability, independence and strong communication skills from a young age.
I have always enjoyed helping others understand things in a way that actually makes sense to them. This was especially clear during my work experience in a primary school, where I supported a student who struggled with maths by breaking concepts down into simple, relatable steps, helping them build confidence and understanding.
Alongside this, I tutor GCSE Chemistry students, where I focus on making complex topics clear, structured and engaging.
I am patient, approachable, adaptable and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities

I am a dedicated and patient tutor currently studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A-level, with a strong academic background in the sciences.
I have experience supporting both primary and GCSE students, including working 1 to 1 with a Year 4 student who found maths particularly challenging due to personal reasons. By breaking concepts down into simple, relatable steps, I helped build their understanding and confidence significantly.
Alongside this, I currently tutor GCSE Chemistry students in small groups, where I focus on explaining complex topics clearly, reinforcing key concepts and helping students improve both their confidence and exam technique.
My approach is friendly, adaptable and focused on making learning engaging, fun and easy to understand, ensuring each student progresses at their own pace.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the students needs.
Flexible times:
Primary (KS2/11+) - 45 minutes
GCSE (KS4) - 60 minutes
Optional - 90 minutes for exam prep
