About Zakir
I’m a 1st year medical student at Cardiff University. I’ve sat my A-level exams in June 2023 so I can truly empathise with what it is like to be a student and with the exam stress. This is one of my key strengths and separates me from many other tutors. Despite my younger age, I have been tutoring for 2 years during my A-levels helping other students achieve their desired grade while simultaneously doing my own exams.

My tutoring approach is very individualistic. I focus on the student and ask for a lot of engagement with students as engagement is how we learn. My teaching technique aims to simplify concepts so much you can explain them without complicated jargon as this indicates true mastery. Once the core concept is understood it’s about refining the technique for fluency and automation to build confidence. Finally, we go into exam mastery which is about getting the best out of the student.
