One hour long lessons, involving many past paper questions on topics you need to work on, as I believe the best way to learn is to immerse yourself into what you'll be doing when it comes to exam day.
At GCSE I achieved 234/240 using this technique, and found it worked best for me. I would do a paper, find the topic(s) I was weak at, and teach myself them using a revision guide. However, this process works even better with a tutor who can help visualise the problems for you, rather than a book.
