About Katrina
Hi! I’m a Malaysian student currently studying A-Level English Literature in the UK. I went through the IGCSE system in Malaysia 2 years ago, so I understand how confusing English exams can feel.
I achieved an A* in both IGCSE English Language and English as a Second Language, and one thing I realized is that top grades in English Language aren't about being 'naturally good'. It's about knowing the right techniques and how to approach each question.
I want to help students feel more confident and show them that achieving top grades is absolutely possible with the right guidance, practice and friendly environment.

I focus on helping students improve their IGCSE English grades through clear structure, exam techniques, and targeted practice rather than teaching English from scratch.
Lesson topics are based on student needs, including: exam technique, essay practice, idea development, basic grammar, etc. A typical lesson lasts 1 hour and includes reviewing past work, teaching key techniques, and practising exam-style questions with guidance.
I achieved an A* in IGCSE English Language and English as a Second Language, and I am currently studying A-Level English Literature (as well as Economics and Politics) in the UK.
