About Michael
I hold a degree in Business Economics and have a professional background spanning business, finance, sales, investment analysis, teaching and coaching.
As an experienced Business English trainer, I have delivered almost 2,000 lessons and worked with professionals from industries including banking, consulting, technology, law, pharmaceuticals, insurance, automotive and management consulting.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging and highly structured. I am particularly good at breaking complicated topics into manageable steps and helping students express their ideas more clearly.
I understand that students learn at different speeds. Lessons are therefore adapted to the individual—not delivered from a fixed script. My goal is to help each student become more knowledgeable, confident and independent.
I genuinely take an interest in the success of my students.

A-Level Economics and Business Studies can feel challenging, but with clear explanations, structured lessons and regular exam practice, students can make substantial progress.
I offer friendly, focused online tuition for A-Level Economics and Business students. I hold a degree in Business Economics and bring extensive experience teaching, coaching and explaining complex business concepts in a clear and practical way.

Tuition is led by the examining board whose exams you will be taking. The end goal is for you to perform to the best of your ability.
My lessons can help students with:
• Understanding theories, models and calculations
• Applying knowledge to real businesses and economic events
• Structuring high-mark essays and evaluation paragraphs
• Interpreting data, graphs and case studies
• Answering examination questions under timed conditions
• Revising effectively and identifying gaps in knowledge
• Developing confidence before assessments and final examinations
I can support students following AQA, Pearson Edexcel and OCR specifications. Every programme is adapted to the student’s examination board, current level and target grade.
Lessons normally combine clear teaching, guided questions and examination practice. Rather than simply giving students information, I help them understand how to apply their knowledge and construct stronger answers.
Students can choose support with Economics, Business Studies or a combination of both subjects.
Online lessons are available throughout the UK.
Price: £50 for a 50-minute individual lesson.
A five-lesson programme is available for £250. This gives us enough time to assess the student’s needs, strengthen key areas and establish a focused improvement plan.
